CKS College Southmont Campus students and faculty celebrate United Nations Day 2025 through activities promoting global awareness, peace, and sustainable development.

On October 28, 2025, CKS College Southmont Campus came alive in a vibrant and
meaningful celebration of United Nations Day, highlighting the core values of global citizenship,
world peace, and sustainable development. The event brought together students, faculty, and
parents in an educational and inspiring atmosphere, all aimed at strengthening the school’s
curriculum through global awareness.

Parents enthusiastically joined the celebration, proudly dressing their children in
traditional costumes representing different countries across various continents. Montessori and
IB students took part in the much-anticipated parade of nations, showcasing their colorful and
creative outfits as they waved their flags and confidently represented their assigned countries.
The program centered on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
with a special emphasis on caring for the planet and promoting peace. Students sang songs of
peace and love for the earth, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and
empathetic global citizens.

Further deepening their understanding, IB students shared their collaborative reflections
on the importance of the SDGs focusing on children’s rights, climate change, poverty, clean
water, peace and security, and presented infographics to raise awareness among the
community. Their thoughtful contributions highlighted how even at a young age, learners can
meaningfully engage with global issues and advocate for positive change.
Through this celebration, CKS College Southmont Campus once again demonstrated its
dedication to developing internationally minded students. The United Nations Day event not only
fostered cultural appreciation but also inspired young learners to embrace their role in building a
more peaceful, earth-friendly, and united world.
